Name: 12 Legions of Angels
Style: Geode to represent the stone infront of the tomb.
Story: The chief priests, scribes, & elders came for Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, being led by ‘the betrayer’ Judas. Peter, in his defense for Jesus, drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. Jesus tells Peter, “do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?During Jesus’ time, 1 Legion of Roman Soldiers was approximately 6000 soldiers. So, 12 Legions would be 72,000 soldiers. Jesus said there were MORE than 12 Legions of Angels that were ready to come & stop the crucifixion if he wanted it to be stopped. His death was voluntary. He experienced excruciating pain that many people who have undergone torture, cracked with far less. And despite the pain and torture, he never called down the 72,000+ angels to end his suffering. Because his love for us outweighed the wipes on his back, the thorns in his head, his beard ripped out, the nails in his hands & feet, the spear in his side, the mocking, & more. The reason he suffered was worth the suffering. US!
Ministring: Wear the Necklace as a reminder for yourself but ALSO to catch the eyes of people. They may compliment the necklace, or ask about it. This is an opportunity for you to tell the story of Jesus' sacrifice.
When they ask, simply state the name of the necklace and see if that inquires more curiousity. If so, you can dive into the story or give them the card.
When you wear the necklace, be intentional of why you are putting it on and the possibility someone may ask about it. Have the cards with you so after the encounter, they have a reminder and a reference for more.
Purpose: At the least: Plant a seed. At the most: Lead them to the acceptance of Christ and get them connected to a church or ministry for discipleship.
Cards: The necklace will come with 20 cards. You can order more as you are running out.
