Name: 'The Word' IS Yeshua
Style: Blue
Story: Jesus is called the beginning and the end because He was in the beginning with God & is returning at the end.
Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The 'Word' is capitalized because John is speaking of someone.
Who is the WORD???
In Revelation 19: 11-13 is says, 'Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called
The Word of God.'
In John 1:1 it also states that Jesus 'The Word' was/is God. Jesus is God in the flesh. God came down in the form of man, Jesus, to save the world. Jesus is the King of Kings & the Lord of Lords. The King who will rule & reign forever first allowed himself to be crucified. As his blood ran down the cross after a gruesome tortuous crucifixion, the shedding of his blood was our key to salvation. Jesus’ name in Hebrew is Yeshua. Hebrew was 1 of the 3 main languages during that time spoken by Jesus. Yeshua means ‘Salvation ’and/or “Deliverance’. Jesus' name is powerful. Demons & darkness cower at His name. Whether we say it in English, Greek, Hebrew, or any other language. His name is powerful in any language.
Acts 16:18- 'But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.'
Luke 10:17- 'Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”'
The Great Commission:
Matthew 28: 18-29 - Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Ministering: Wear the Necklace as a reminder for yourself but ALSO to catch the eyes of people. They may compliment the necklace, or ask about it. This is an opportunity for you to tell the story of Jesus' sacrifice.
When they ask, simply state the name of the necklace and see if that inquires more curiosity. If so, you can dive into the story or give them the card.
When you wear the necklace, be intentional of why you are putting it on and the possibility someone may ask about it. Have the cards with you so after the encounter, they have a reminder and a reference for more.
Purpose: At the least: Plant a seed. At the most: Lead them to the acceptance of Christ and get them connected to a church or ministry for discipleship.
Cards: The necklace will come with 20 cards. You can order more as you are running out.
